Yahoo algo update

A few days ago Yahoo updated it’s algo.

My Swedish company web site went from #3 to #1 on the keyword webbdesign (swedish for web design), so I am pleased.

But it is interesting that I have not done any changes at all on the site since months, I have just been adding backlinks.

By looking over forums and other blog posts we can see that it was not such a major thing – nothing like Google’s Jagger update.

How did it go for you?

Thats stinks Silver I feel for ya :) don’t get down on your self, the Machine is playing with everyone’s website.

a Couple of my hosting clients have been chating it up on the My forum about droping from the Top 10 to not even in the hundreds for there respective keywords. Wonder how many people’s sites where affected!!!

A couple of my sites lost top for there keyword they didn’t go to far, I guess it’s not that bad though, the site I’m currently working on jumped so Im Content.

We have to figure out why, an Fix it, I’m going to try Tweaking My meta’s and of course advertise more.

Hope to get back to the Top

This post was originally in December 2005, I didn’t know there was a new update – thanks for the pointer.

And I hope you get the rankings better.
