Fastest way: activate hosting and new domain

Do you, like me, sometimes need to get a new site up VERY FAST ?

Here is the guide how to get a page up on the internet with new domain and new hosting in 30 minutes – I did it yesterday and I love it.

  1. Reg the domain at Godaddy – the fastest registrar I know and also very fast DNS propagation.
  2. Go here to get hosting www.a1whs.comInstant activation
  3. Now 3 min later the domain should be activated and change the DNS to ns1.a1whs.com and ns2.a1whs.com
  4. With FTP and the user / pass that you wrote connect here: ftp.a1whs.com and upload your files.
  5. When the files have been uploaded, or a while after, the DNS has been propageted and so go to your new domain and voila!

Thank you jim for the nice words , but i would like to say that Godaddy has the fastest propagation of dns changes i have ever seen , i have one account with yahoo and one with godaddy and it virtually took me only 5 mins when i started my hosting company for the dns to propagate. Godaddy is a must if any wants fast dns changes , i also have one .ca domain with netnation but i would not suggest them as they have slowest rate of dns propagation, as it took me 2 days for my site to come available. Same is the case with aplus.net.

    Hello Marcus,
    Thanks for your comments.
And am Sorry about those email exchanges, but i had never had issue with anyone signup and script giving error, as i had no clue that using capital letter/words would do account failure, so i have updated the page with warning in place stating not to use capitals, soon will edit script or put additional javascript to disable capital letters/words to be used.

    Regards
