Hello Jim,
I have been reading your website and most say I am simultaneously awed and shocked. I don�t want to comment your decisions or opionions but being a person who knows you and understands you I want to express my admiration of your achievements. It was always clear that you were different, you were intelliegent lacking self-belief but very attentive. I am happy that you could discover for yourselves what you are capable of achieving and have also exchanged it into valuables. Take care, maybe we can meet up when I am visiting Copenhagen.

IT24-artikeln finns här: Svensk pionjär får 1 miljon kronor för SEO-tjänster. Jag tycker summan på runt en miljon är rimlig. Snarast har Jim fått ett bra pris. Vad företaget är utan Jim som konsult bakom kan man endast spekulera i. Epiphany Solutions köper något som jag förstår nästan bara ett namn och ett par katalog-tjänster. Hade Jim varit kvar i bolaget hade nog köpesumman blivit betydligt högre (tex så vet jag via skvaller att han har fått en del andra liknande bud tidigare…). Jim tar ett steg vidare i livet som författare. Det är alltid roligt att se folk som vågar göra saker som bryter mot normen. Jag är nog inte ensam om att ha varit skeptisk till Jim när han dök upp med sina webbsidor för ett par år sen som “webmaster”. Såhär i backspegeln är det ju bara att buga och bocka eftersom vi har fått titta från första bänk när en riktigt driven person har gjort bra affärer. Jims lite speciella fallelse för scientologi och laws of attraction och så vidare tycker jag att man kan stå ut med eftersom han aldrig någonsin gör det påtalat mer än på ett väldigt passivt vis. En del personer verkar ha lite problem med den typen av intressen tyvärr (det finns mycket värre exempel på folk som sväljer andras ideologier med hull och hår). För de oinsatta så har Jim nästan helt själv dragit igång seo-konsult-verksamheten för småföretagare i Sverige. Det är många som har följt i hans fotspår. Se till exempel hans forum (som tyvärr har dragit till sig en del underliga individer på sistonde). Han har kom tvåa i den första riktigt stora seo-tävlingen. Han har antagligen gjort det betydligt mer accepterat i sverige att odla personkult (någon mer än jag som kommer ihåg hans stora adwords-annonser på WN)? Han har startat och köpt en uppsjö av webbsiter, både som fix & flip men även som långsiktiga investeringar. Han har byggt upp ett seo-nätverk som var värt minst en miljon. Säga vad man vill, men det är inte många som lyckas med hälften av det Jim har gjort på de få åren vi har fått stifta bekanskap via internet med honom. Sorry man you should have got some employees. You were thinking small at a time when you could have scaled your business and taken some time off and let some people continue your ideas. That is the great thing about capitalism, if your idea works then you can pay someone near min wage to do a lot of tasks for you. You could have written from home and deal with employees by messenger. You just needed to be the face.

As for Google and links, it is the basis of their algo and for some time to come. It is a cat and mouse game. Anyway wish you luck, not many people have the courage to turn their backs on something that is working and if you do go back, explore the idea of employees. It really works.
