25 billion pages in Google

That is 25,000,000,000 web pages.

Possible?

See it your self, look at the amount of hits the query gives.

EDIT: That query is no longer working.

The following input from Netcraft is also interesting that suggests the number of web sites (not pages) to be 108,810,358 as of February 2007.

Wow, how is it possible that a website which is not functioning (at least the time I tried to check it) has so mnay Google backlinks? I wonder how many hits it receives a day and what is its pagerank if this site still exists?

    Vitality,

There is a minus (-) sign before which means that the query gives all sites NOT linking …

Why is Best Buy in the top? Best buy is a useless site with not even 9PR.

The query is no longer working. Does anybody have a screenshot? Because it’s damn interesting… but now it’s no longer available. Thanks.

    Ciprian,

Sorry, didn’t take a screenshot. The order of the results was also interesting.
