Usually I just concentrate on SEO for myself and clients and don’t do so much web site designing but the last days was an exception. In fact I even don’t offer web design anylonger to clients so when I do it is mostly for my own sites.
This is the new web design updates from this earlier post (April 16th, 2006):
Complete redesign almost fully finished. I did that last night and today (the basic design itself I had from an earlier site). The hardest part was to get the CSS Hover navigation to work in Internet Explorer … (I got help from this and this page for that navigation). It is WordPress 1.5 and I love it. Almost no images, almost no javascript and almost no tables. Don’t look at the code … it is full of errors
(I code by hand). There is a lot I can write about WordPress after this work, I’ll hopefully do that later. It is missing the search box, RSS links, archive and some other goodies.
General Swedish directory I made yesterday to a Swedish client.
I paid a designer to help me on that one and I put together the site about a week ago. It is from that site I promote my SEO services to Swedish clients.
I redesigned this site totally a few weeks ago. Now each question has it’s own individual page which is also much better SEO-wise. It is coded in Smarty so it was not that easy - trial and errror, hehe.
Did I mention that I like blue? ![]()

Hi Jim!
Hehe! I recognize the background I seen you use that one earlier.
Blue blue blue!!!
hehehehe…
Marcus,
Yeah but I removed it now. I like this better, much more clean.
Praveen,
Hehehe. Almost all the sites that I designed are blue actually
Hehe Jim,
Looks good … But somehow I cant find the site to be complete without a single graphic. Hope you getting what am saying!
Btw great going! Keep up!
Abhishek
You have an outstanding good and well structured site. I enjoyed browsing through it.
Abhishek,
Ok! I put back the background image - I found that I had a better version and this one actually fits very well.
It is same as http://www.jw-network.com and http://www.jw-webbdesign.se
Hi Jim,
I think old design is cool then this new one.
Hey Jim,
I was not talking abt this graphic, hehe.. I was talking about some nice header graphic, anyways it’s nice!
Apart from that, the top navigation seems to be settled a bit to the right, is it just me who sees it that way ? Or is it actually to the right! Should be to the centre yeh ?
Abhishek
Abhishek,
It should be centre but I could not manage it so I had to use a “margin-left:20%” which makes it almost center depending on resolution. If you help me solve it I send you $15.
Pretty nice site, wants to see much more on it!
kb toy,
Nice! But have you read all 200 pages that is under this site??
And Abhishek has helped me on the center of the top navigation, I will test now if it works.
Very cool design! Useful information. Go on!
Very interesting website. Keep up the outstanding work and thank you…

Love what you’ve done with this design. It’s nice to visit a site that doesn’t hurt my eyes.
Thanks.
Me again…
Old post but feels like I have to comment this anyway
Checked out your new deign on SEO FAQ.net, but it has one huge flaw in IE7. When I select to view all answers the vertical scrollbar dissappears, and the only way for me to scroll down to the actual questions and answers is by selecting the text from top to bottom.
Of course the jumpmenu still works fine, but it’s somewhat annoying not beeing able to use the scrollbars.
